I noticed here that there was no 'Favourite DM Character' topic. So I decided to make one. So here it is. There are many characters. So which one is your favourite?
My favourie character is Stiletto (My Videos of Dangermouse have him with an Italian Accent) because of all the trouble he gets in and all the cool stuff he does. I also have a bit of a thing for a Villain's assistant.

My fav would have to be the bizarre Count Duckula. Before his transformation into the mild mannered version, the original Duckula was a lunatic. He would constantly scheme to get on tv. The duck finally got his wish but went through some kind of makeover with his lisp completely gone and his appearance more friendly and with kid appeal of course. It would have been interesting to see this new Duckula team up with DM but alas.
Oh yeah! I remember.

Yeah, Penfold's definitly one of the best. But my favorite character has got to be Stiletto Mafiosa!

Hmm...definitely the Narrator. :) Honourable mention goes to Stilletto and, even though he wasn't there much, Dr. Crumhorn. (I just have this thing for mad scientists for some reason.)
I'd say Duckula too, but I like his incarnation on his own show much better. You see, I happened upon these two shows in the wrong order--I saw Count Duckula (and fell MADLY in love with the show for all time in perpetuity throughout the multiverse) first, and _then_ Danger Mouse, much later on. So I was already way more used to Duckula in his later form.
He's a fun recurring villian on Danger Mouse, but give me the wittier, more sarcastic, non-stuttering and not _quite_ as obsessed with being on television version, any day. Also, Igor and Nanny rule. But that is, of course, a topic for a different messageboard.

He's a caterpillar, and I love him too! He made such amazingly CUTE noises! And what a clever idea to use a caterpillar as a cat for a small creature like Greenback...And O.T.: It must be hard on the throat to do Greenback's voice

It has to be a toss-up between Penfold and Count Duckula. I find it amusing that no one has put Danger Mouse as his/her favorite character yet.
Penfold is just so loveable and inept. And Count Duckula is hilarious.

Ernest Penfold & Isenbaed Sinclair[AKA the Narrator] are the best. They were just so funny. Penfold's puns seem like no one could see them coming. And Isenbaed is the funniest narrator of all. DM is my 3rd favorite.

As much as I love me some Danger Mouse, my all-time favorite is Stiletto. I can't BELIEVE they up and altered his voice like that! That always made me mad. BTW, when was the last time that anyone saw this on tv? For me, it must have been on Channel 5 (a NYC station) back in either the late 80's or early 90's. *sigh*

I liked Penfold and obviously Danger Mouse. For some reason Stiletto scared me, but I don't remember how old I was when I watched this show.
My sister and I liked this show so much though that we wanted to name our first hamster Penfold. Instead his name ended up being Brownie Penfold and I forget why.
Greenback scared me slightly when he frowned and his voice and general aura of power and control made their mark on this young mind! I always got the impression Stiletto would stab you in the neck for two bob.
