The series was filmed in a house just round the corner from where I live! Mum and Dad used to see them walking around Cheltenham in the 70s.

my dad saw Nick Lyndhurst in a pub in Cheltenham in the early 80's/late 70's and said hi to him.
He also saw Timmy Mallet in a pub in Tewkesbury, but thats another story.

I was climbing a tree an Hatherley park with a friend, and we were making the cherry blossom fall off by jumping up and down on branches!
The director went absolutely mental, screaming from his red face - we of course, being young, found it all very funny!
They always think they own the place, even though they're in public areas.

My Gran (who is now dead) lived near Hatherley park where some of it was filmed, I used to go to that park a bit when I was a kid.
