Doesn't surprise me. I remember when it aired and vaguely remember watching one episode. It vanished not too long after that. The Brady Bunch was never able to land another successful TV series after the original ended in 1974.

The Brady Brides did a bit better though than the next new TV series, The Bradys in 1990. That show only lasted 5 episodes.

I can't believe the show didn't last a half season of about thirteen episodes. Were the ratings that weak?

I think it was just bad timing . In the first couple of years of every new decade entertainment starts "getting rid" of the previous decades popular things . In 1981 anything Bradys was considered passe . Ironically , maybe if they had waited uuntil 84-86 it might have done better .

I actually don't think it was a bad show. It could have improved if they hadn't cancelled it so soon.

Me too. I bought it along with the TV movie Yhe Brady Girls Get Married on iOffer
