Man, did I LOVE this show as a kid!

Whatever night this show as on was the night my Mom used to grocery shopping. I remember standing in line at the market hopping up and down hoping we would get home in time to watch BEST IN THE WEST.

Now, many many years later I can barely tell you anything about the show, except that it starred Joel Higgins and Meeno Peluce. DAMN! Do I wish they would play it again on TV LAND or put it on DVD or SOMETHING!!!

I met the guy who is my best friend when I was 17. I remember we were talking about old shows we used to love (BOSOM BUDDIES, ITS YOUR MOVE, etc) and he said "You probably dont even remember this one: BEST IN THE WEST" and I was THRILLED to finally meet someone who remembered this show and loved it like I did!

I remember loving this show too. I still remember a few scenes:
One where Christopher Lloyd is trying to get some kind of educational
dregree, maybe a 6th grade education, and had trouble getting the speeling
down of rhyming words: half...calf....but LAUGH?
And when the towns folk weren't happy with Best's success a catching
certain bad guys....."I'm workin' on it!"
And when Best an a bad guy have a shoot-out in the bar, and after all
ammunition had broken all wndows and glasses and bottles, both came out
unscathed...leading to the frustrated comment..."well....I mean..."
Anyone remember these scenes or any others?
