Is Treasure Hunt (Christmas 1987) the best episode ever?

I am a big Bergerac fan and have all available series on DVD. I agree with previous threads that the episodes with Miss Vale in are some of the best. I was wondering if it was just me or if other peole also thought Treasure Hunt (Liza goddard's 3rd appearance) is the most enjoyable episode of Bergerac - beating Burnt (with my grandmother in) & the episode with Judy Cornwell and a shoot out on the ferry Corbiere after Bergerac's mid sea leap from yacht to ferry?

NB This is the episode where Vale & Bergerac get together in the wine cellar (Susan is off in the UK thinking things over after cheating on Jim) when he thinks they are trapped for the night (not knowing that Miss Vale knows of another unlocked exit).

Thanks for providing an excuse to watch that again!

Good episode, for sure - complex (if a bit tenuous) plot, great acting and filming, Liza Goddard, plenty of Jersey interest, plus the extra length that many other episodes could have done with. As to whether it's the best-ever episode - aren't comparisons supposed to be odious?

But what was your grandmother doing in 'Burnt'?! (And where is Season 8 on DVD? - it's been a long time since 7 was released)
