ffolks and Harris tussle and Harris is thrown overboard. The film goes on with no comment, and we never know if Harris is even dead or alive. What do we make of ffolks tossing his right hand man overboard, even if by mistake, and then never mentioning him again? Will someone redeem ffolks?!
sharethe closest answer I can deduce is that just after they subdue the bad guy, ffolkes asks 'where's harris' and some answers that he was thrown overboard, and ffolkes says something that sounds like "port side" and they rush off. they may have been going to save him. Other than that, I can only deduce that being a strong underwater swimmer, he did not die. but you are right, they left that hanging very unsatisfactorily.

Watched this yesterday morning, watch the last shot of the movie which freeze-frames as Roger Moore is walking away with his cats - Harris is stood at the top of the line. He survived.
shareffolkes has one man named Harris and the other Ellis, the way Moore pronounces them it sounds alike. Anyways ffolkes has no idea which man of his he throw overboard, not until the stun grenades don't go off, which Harris was carrying. And so he ask's where he was. Then he directs Ellis to go to port and whoever to go to starboard.
