Where in the hell.................

would the alien hide? Greg is comforting Sandy after her bad dream and they hear the front door open. We know the alien has entered the house.

So my question is, where does a 7ft plus tall alien with a head the size of a beach ball hide?

The only place the alien could have hidden initially was the kitchen. It even turns the tap water back on. As Greg discovers this, they leave the kitchen where the camera then goes into first person (alien motion).

WHERE DID IT HIDE? IN A KITCHEN CUPBOARD LOL!!!

I love this film but that always gets me.

I'm afraid we're gunna need cover sheets on all TPS reports now. Did you get that memo?

My guess is that the alien goes "invisible" from some device or power it has, or goes down to that basement under the house for a bit because he likes to wait and hunt rather than attack immediately.

Invisible?? That's a really good shout that mate. I was thinking it even managed to turn the closet light back on. The camera "stilled" at the closet door to imply the alien was in there so it must have been invisible. This would probably have been more emphasised had the movie been on a larger budget.

Where does a super-scary 7ft plus tall alien killing machine with a head the size of a beach ball hide?
Answer: Anywhere he likes.

The alien was all about stealth. It would needed silence having been 7 foot tall with a huge head. Maybe it even had mind control over Greg to an extant .Even with all that caffiene from the coffee. Greg then got the offscreen head shot. Almost like he had a bursted aneurysm without any warning bad pun. The spooky nature of the Alien is complimented by Its otherworldly phenomenon. The cub scout leader's compass not working implying the presence of an otherworldly force at work. The alien messing with Greg's radio's frequency. The running water with no known empirical reason for occuring. the light bulb in the closet how could the alien fit in there or hide?
