Lovecraftian Horror?


Does anyone else believe this movie is influenced by the works of HP Lovecraft, especially with it's story dealing with an outworldly being from another dimension?

Yeah, the alternate endings had what looked like a Fungi from Yuggoth in there.

Heck, the title itself is Lovecraftian. Even if it's not directly Lovecraft inspired, it holds some heavy influence from him; and it actually works much better than most direct adaptations!
