This couple would be a good lesson to the couple on Master of None.

I'm watching the season finale of Master of none, twelve minutes in and I would be biting my nails if I didn't cut my fingernails yesterday...

Because I really want Aziz and Rachel together but I'm tithers because they don't see each other as soul mates because they both fear fidelity... Because look at their jobs. If they cannot commit to this issue, they have a problem. But the thing is, they both have the same problem. The condom broke the first night too. And he's thinking, when will I meet my soul mate. In the Bhagavad Gita, if you're straight and you just meet a bunch of women, but adjusted for circumstances, AT LEAST ONE OUT OF THIRTY FIVE, if you are heterosexual, you could fall in love according to Krishna. But not really because now you're living your life and you have your histories and your loyalties.

And then he's an actor going to a premiere. She's a concert promoter. So about two minutes ago I feared the hold but I just don't think he's asking himself the right questions... and I would want more from her but she has the same fears... but they're not going to get new jobs the next time around. Their fear, it just cannot be dealt with. So at least it would be two people in high risk occupations.

In this film, I just didn't think the two were in love like that... but then they way they broke up and got back together, after going through so much and so outlandlishly, they disproved everybody that doubted them. Because they knew and they called the shots but Aziz is not asking the right questions because he has a fear that she does not love him... and he's an actor so how can he promise fidelity?

But at least Rachel is in the same situation and that's not going to change but the way these two think, they loose focus... Urban cowboy living that near city life with his boo, maybe he can just turn them around... the condom broke. Just take it as a sign. Two years later. Now you can take it as a sign without being nuts. You're just not going to be able to fix your issues regardless.

Now I'm at the end of Master of None and it's even sadder... because the way they broke up they are even more right for each other. But they're not really the Urban Cowboy and his woman because those two were apparently actually in love. These two the way they have such great banter I just wanted more from them as a couple.

These two though, all the things you can't change about yourself, if you want to get married just accept them. Now what about the other person? Are your shortcomings 'fair enough' given the other person?

These two were socialites hitting up suburban near-city night scene the whole way... and they would both struggle with issues no matter what, and then they made the right decision. Rachel and Dev just blur the picture. But the way she left at least you would have expected him to run after her. Try at least. She had no reason to even move to Japan. Who would not try at that point? All signals go. Master of None was a jerk for not trying harder, if he's complaining "Why not 100%" too... just cut a fair deal, but try to be fair about it over time..

You know what though? Maybe Dev did watch Urban Cowboy. He is an actor by trade and it is classic cinema. It's highly possible. In that case, maybe it's a two stop flight he's taking.. because that's common. Japan is so far and away few planes would go on one trip. And that is the most logical explanation of why he is on that plane talking to the woman next to him in such a manner... compared to anything else it could be... so maybe there is hope for him and Rachel... maybe they did see Urban Cowboy. Some things just won't change like who people are on the inside. Now try to make the best of it.
