Connection to X-Men Apocalypse?

Anyone know why Up the Academy is playing with Return of the Jedi in the new X-Men movie? The only obvious connection I can think of is Robert Downey Sr. The two movies are not even from the same year. Ideas?

Yes. Hutch Parker is one of the X-Men Apocalypse Producers and when he was 16 he was an actor and played Oliver (one of the 4 boys) in UTA. His stage name then was J. Hutchison. That is why.
