US DVD WHEN !

Come on Mondo Macabro !

reply

Probably never. Rhino Records would have to option it. Other wise find a Mystie (Mystery Science Theatre 3000 fan and they probably have a DVD copy of the master somewhere.)

reply

Well, if Rhino has any plans on releasing this one, then forget it. Rhino seems to butcher films... think BLOOD MANIA and DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE.

I'll stick with my big Prism clamshell VHS, thanks...

The DVD of the MST3K version is out, I'm not sure if that's the one you're talking about. I personally think it's one of the best MST3K episodes ever.

There is currently no official Rhino release of the MST3K version. Check mst3kinfo.com if you don't believe me. You can, however, find fan-made DVDs online.

If you go to mst3kvideos.com, the guy there is very reliable and he might even have a copy of the uncut film. It's worth a shot.

You can watch the entire Puma Man MST3K on www.youtube.com . Just search for Puma Man.

Why the eff would anyone want to see this piece-of-crap movie without Mike, Crow and Tom Servo (the MST3K guys in case anyone doesn't know) bashing it all the way through? If anyone wants to see this un-MSTied and they already know what it is or have already seen it then I assume that person has some serious issues.

"And what would a note say, Dan? 'Cat dead, details later'?"

reply

The DVD of the MST3K version will have the pure, uncommented film on the other side... If I'm not mistaken.

reply

If they ever release this MST episode then that is possible but I doubt it. I think they have only had the original versions of the films as well as the MSTied versions in the first volume.

The video of:
Wool Over His Eyes Man!
Easily Bamboozled Man!
Three Steps Behind Man!
Constantly over-his-head-man!
Scolosis-man!

(aka PUMA MAN) is available at mst3k.org and at castle-forester.com

Shout Factory owns the rights to MST3K now. It's up to them to release the MST3K of "PUMAMAN" but there's no updates on any releases since they bought the rights.

The current rightsholder to this (I can't believe someone would hold on to it, but still...) is Indoamericana Film Ltd.

Shout! has been looking and looking but can't seem to find any contact info on these guys; so until they do get ahold of them, we probably won't see the MST3K episode on DVD--which is a shame, as it's from my favorite season.

If anyone from Indoamericana is reading this, get ahold of Shout! Factory immediately.

If anyone has any info that can lead Shout! to these guys, please contact them!

It's finally happened. Not only was it just released in the most recent MST3K collection, they even included the original non-MST version of Pumaman as a bonus.
