Needs to come out on DVD

Such off-beat and unusual 80's sci-fi cult oddities as "Repo Man" and "Buckaroo Banzai" have already been released on DVD, so clearly it's about time that this winningly quirky little sleeper finally receives the deluxe special edition DVD treatment as well. It's a very sweet and engaging film, full of endearingly eccentric characters, good-natured humor, and a truly terrific country and western soundtrack (I especially love that wonderfully wacky Roger Miller ending credits theme song), so its current unavailability in this format constitutes as a minor crime. Cindy Williams was never better, more vibrant or touching than she is in this film. Moreover, Fred Ward and Harry Dean Stanton are likewise superb. Hopefully, this radiant and uplifting gem will be reissued on DVD in the immediate foreseeable future. I'm sure other fans of "UFOria" wholeheartedly agree with me on this issue.

Yes, "UFOria" becomes a cult classic!

I only watched this movie because I saw that Harry Dean Stanton and Fred Ward were in it. It was pleasantly surprising-by no means brilliant but it was enjoyable.

Otto: This is intense!
Miller: The life of a repo man is always intense.

I loved this movie, but I think that it is too cynical and skeptical to appeal to modern audiences.

Fred Ward and Harry Dean - two of my favorites since childhood. Also, Charlotte Stewart (Eraserhead, Tremors) has a brief cameo as 'Brother Roy's Girlfriend'.

I got news for 'em. There's gonna be hell to pay. 'Cause I ain't Daddy's little boy no more.

Toby's wife: (suckling newborn baby) I wish you could feel how that feels.
Toby: I know how it feels.
Toby's wife: You do? How could you?
Toby: One time on acid I was my own mother. I sucked my own breast. I was mother and son at the same time.
