It's been almost four years since your post (or any post, for that matter), so I guess this film is pretty much forgotten.

I can't say it's one of Jack Lemmon's better films (or Bob Clark's for that matter), but it deserves to be rescued from obscurity. It's an odd mix of comedy and melodrama, but I found it most enjoyable for the strong cast. 7/10 stars from me.

It was only released on Laserdisc, it was made as a Canadian production, it was made on a low budget and it still flopped, it didn't actually get an Oscar and most of the actors are either unknown or dead. Neither of that helped this movie become more available unfortunately and it probably never got a quality distributor in the first place.

i used to have it on VHS. Furthermore, there are a lot of movies such as the Wizard of Oz where all the actors are deceased and in Tribute there were 4 actors who played major parts that were well known. So your answers in these aspects are wrong.
