Unique story

Being an Elvis fan I do know several stories of Elvis in Vegas meeting
"needy" or "crippled" children. I believe this story was based on someone who lived longer than "Karen" did. However, because this story was only "based on true facts," I always got the impression that Lena was "Elvis," althoguh I know how kind Elvis really was to children. Even in his drugged out state during the CBS filming, he adored the little Indian girl that gave him the medal. The only problem I have with this movie is that it coudln't decide what year it was. It seemed like it was the early 1960's, but the final photo of Elvis with Karen dead in the bed is a mid-1970's (circa 1972) picture of him. Karen lived maybe a year after meeting Lena, so call it a goof.
