Ian Holm as Napolean

As a kid, and now as an aged adult, I find his performance so hilarious that I am now actively seeking out movies with him in it. Any suggestions besides the obvious (Alien, Brazil, etc)?

Holm is very effectively cruel and evil in John Frankenheeimer´s The Fixer from 1968. And then he stars (for once!) in Atom Egoyan´s 1997 grief opus The Sweet Hereafter. Those two are definitely some of his best performances.

He was good in 'The Fifth Element'

He has a funny supporting role in the movie Big Night (1996) starring Stanley Tucci and Tony Shalhoub.

He plays Napoleon again in The Emperor's New Clothes. A romantic comedy which I found pretty good. He obviously is in the Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Hobbit as Bilbo Baggins.

Someone already mentioned that he plays Napoleon again in The Emperor's New Clothes, but there other notable works:

A smallish but very good part in Lord of War (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0399295/)

Same for The Aviator (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0338751/)

3rd billed in eXistenZ (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120907/)

As someone already mentioned but I will repeat because it's a Must see, The Fifth Element (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119116/),

Supporting actor in Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0087365/), with Sir Ralph Richardson again.

And Chariots of Fire (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082158/)
