Awesome! You should send a pic of that to Terry Gilliam, or even David Warner.
If you still have the costume and can afford to go to one of the various cons around the country (such as the NYC Comic Con) you should definitely wear this there. I'll bet a lot more folks there will recognize who you're suppose to be.
