I own the dvd with the trailer but I know there is a TV spot which I believe is German. If possible somebody please send me the link...I do remember seeing a commercial in 1980 which was the noise of the train chugging along and fast frames of the movie scenes and at the end of the commercial the whistle went off and the announcer said "Terror Train" and they showed the killer with the Groucho mask and conductor hat.

The DVD/Blu-ray combo release from Scream Factory features a TV spot for this film amongst its extras.
