Superman's killing of General Zod in Man Of Steel is heavily contested amongst fans. However, the way it happens in Superman II is much worse.
I'd agree. Especially since he'd turned him and his lackeys into human beings. Then he breaks Zod's hand and throws him off a cliff while smiling.

Not sure I like that Ms. Lamarr, I'm OK and actually prefer Supes killing the trio of scum. They had no compunction of killing the astros and others on Earth. I think it was a good idea to delete this from the theatrical release.
