I love the line where Skip says "My 11 year old back problem! It's gone! I don't know how to thank you!" The look on Craig T. Nelson's face was classic.
I thought it was pretty bad honestly. The plot is dumb, the writing pretty standard, the acting so so, and the whole thing just didn't make me laugh at all. The jokes are telegraphed a mile away and by the time they finally get to it I'm waiting for the next one. It's so slow and tedious, it ended up on a free local movie channel and still wasn't even worth watching...
I agree with Beard. I was all set to love this film and found it unfunny and obvious for the most part. Which is surprising considering a film like Silver Streak with the same two leads. That was a good one. This was not. I gave it a 4 which was only that high because of the cast and in particular Jobeth Williams, one of my favorites from that period (she's always great), but that's being generous.
