dvd with english subtitles?

I've been lent a dvd of Stage Sisters but it's a chinese dvd without English subtitles. Does anyone know if it's available with English subtitles? It really deserves to be better known. Anyone who likes Douglas Sirk deserves to see this treat. I hope Tony Rayns is trying to persuade Eureka to bring it out on dvd.

There's a version called Two Actresses which has English subtitles, but the visual quality is dreadful (also the translation doesn't seem to be very good). I suggest you get some Chinese friend to translate the dialogue, then use a programme like urusoft to insert your own subtitles.
