filming dates

Hi,
I'm so fond of all the details around this movie including the production. Does anyone know where one can find (preferrably for free of course) all the production dates for each of the scenes?

Ideally both the dates and the time of day each scene was shot - especially the final picnic scene (for which Janes and Christophers real life on set romance sadly ended forever the same day)

Intriguing but I'd be surprised if that information was publicly available.

hm, I see. Even the somewhere in time fanclub (SIT) hasn't got it, it seems. Cannot find any such details on their open web pages at least but haven't bought or seen any of the books or DVDs they sell on background material. Hopefully someone answers as I have read the movie is one of the worlds most documented. If someone has and can upload it, I would be very thankful :-)

It is highly unlikely that you will have access to that information.

Major Movie companies never make their production budgets public information as they often engage in "creative accounting" to achieve the highest amount of tax deductions come IRS time.

You'd be surprised to see how movie studios avoid paying the maximum tax rate by writing off expenses and losses.

I don’t see how filming dates can affect depreciation in the accounts. Anyway this could not be an issue for a 42 year Old film since accounting data needs to be archived for ten years only and hence there should be zero risk for a control from the SEC for example bases on «new» filming time information.

I think you'd have better luck contacting the Hotel in Michigan where they filmed this. They may even have memorabilia and a historical tour regarding the movie?
