Jane Seymour

I think she is the most beautiful woman in the history of film. I just am amazed by her. Does anyone agree? If not her, who is the most beautiful?

reply

Definitely agree!

reply

Absolutely agree. But it's funny... I was in the theater watching Wedding Crashers (which has Jane in a small but hilarious role), and as she was acting all sex-kittenish in a scene, one of the teenage boys behind me said, "Ewwww. She's so old." I never wanted to crack someone in the head so much in my life. But she'll always be beautiful to me. It's probably like the 60-something guys who always talk about Sophia Loren as the most beautiful woman on film. I don't see it, but I don't have their eyes...

reply

I beg to disagree. Yes, she was indeed the most beautiful woman during her time but Emma Watson is currently the most beautiful girl recently.

reply

NO Emma Watson isnt.
Funmi Elemoso is .

Jane Seymour's eyes kill me.

I like waking up in the morning not knowing who I'll meet or where I'll end up: The Titanic

One Jane's eyes is brown and the other is green. Just a little trivia. I think a younger Jane Seymour is one of the most gorgeous women ever. Especially in this movie. Don't get me wrong, Jane is completely beautiful older, but in her younger days, omg, she could give any of todays actresses a run for their money.

reply

While I think Jayne is a wonderfully beautiful woman, there have been a few others who's beauty is beyond belief. Jacqueline Bisset springs to mind. (quite frequently ;) )

At her best Jacqueline could give Jayne a good run for her money.

reply

She is definately a very beautiful woman.

Right up there with Jenny Agutter, Jacqueline Bisset, Nadia Bjorlin, Maud Adams, Lois Chiles, Greta Scacchi, Ann-Margret, Ana Alicia, Morgan Fairchild, Eva Longoria Parker, and Teri Hatcher.

What is wrong with you? Emma Watson is NOTHING compared to Jane Seymour, and she is NOTHING compared to someone like Megan Fox or Rachel McAdams. Seriously, that Watson is so grossly overrated it's not even funny.

reply

Yes, she was definitely beautiful! that's why it would be nearly impossible to find any replacement for a re-make that could come close to Seymour as Elise!! I agree.

I've been a fan of Jane Seymour for years and I always thought she was the most lovely thing I'd seen on screen. Her movies were never the greatest but I was always drawn to it when they played on tv. A classic beauty with undeniable sexiness.

reply

what, no one mentioned Bea Arthur:)

reply

I think Kate Nelligan would have been great in the part too! She's very beautiful also. But I think Jane Seymour did a fantastic job

I was getting ready for SkyFall recently and started watching some Bond films to get ready. I watched Live and Let Die and good lord is she gorgeous. She is the definition of breathtakingly beautiful and sexy. I think she's officially #1 on my list of women.

reply

Brooke Shields from The Blue Lagoon and Vivien Leigh from Gone with the Wind.

reply

I agree. But she is especially in SIT. I want to buy the photograph of her, and sometimes I find myself just staring at it, because she is so breathtakingly beautiful. She was perfectly cast in this movie. I don't think she could ever be replaced.

reply

I gave that photo to one of my boys! It's truly beautiful...

reply

I completely agree. Most beautiful, charming, mesmerizing, sexy, enchanting woman I have ever seen in my life.. and she never looked so good as she did in this movie. Drop dead gorgeous.. and still is btw! So glad I'm not the only one who feels this way.

But in this film her character was put on very tight reins, allowing little of her natural exuberance to shine through.

True, but I think that works very well for the role. It's only after she meets Richard that she starts to loosen up, and tragically, of course, that doesn't last.
