I noticed she's wearing a green metal button in the final taxi scene but never have been able to read what is on it. It doesnt appear on her jacket in the middle of the movie when they're walking thru the park/squares, near the group of small kids? anyone able to read it?
shareIt's impossible to make out the lettering, but there's a blobby picture of what looks to me like a protester in the middle of the button. Jessie is suddenly wearing the button toward the end of the movie, during her walk through the campus with Nick. You can hear Jessie stuffing papers into her briefcase as they walk away from a group of students. My best guess is that there's a missing scene where the two of them encounter some contemporary (1980) student activists, and Jessie takes their literature and puts on a button -- a shoutout to the old days with Nick and Leo. Yeah, I wish I could read it.
