So I've been wanting to see this movie for a long time, and I don't want to waste my time on another bad cut movie (Ichi the Killer cut version) and so I was wondering the rated R version is still bloody and great. Any help would be appreciated. And does anyone know if it's the cut version in the Five Disc Collecter's Set?

I have to return some videotapes.

Don't bother, watch Lone Wolf and Cub - The Sword of Vegeance instead. More gore, more serious and an overall better film.

Shogun Assassin is just that film cut up to shreds and dubbed with American actors.
