I've seen all the lone wolf films and shogun assassin. I only watched it out curiosity as it was mentioned on kill bill part 2. I have to say I think they're great. They style. Soundtrack and the violence.

I'm going to watch lady snowblood next bit has anyone seen any hanzo the razor? Is it similar?

The hanzo films are good, set during roughly the same period but the content and themes are different.

Worth a watch for sure.

Also check out the zatoichi films and sword of doom.
