Makes sense she did a good job. I think people don't like the personality of Wendy, and confuse that with Duvall giving a bad performance.
shareI did not have a problem with Wendy's personality, I actually felt sorry for her because of the way Jack treated her. I had a problem with her saying her lines like a little girl, it just wasn't a good performance. There's a reason Kubrick cut out a lot of her scenes.
