Lloyd the Bartender....

Many people think that the scene between Jack & Lloyd at the bar is a plot hole or a mistake in the movie. This is the scene where Jack stumbles into a deserted barroom & then Lloyd suddenly appears.

Some people are of the opinion that it was a "goof" when Lloyd & the rest of the crowd disappeared when Wendy came running in to find Jack sitting down at the bar. What goof? They just chose not to manifest themselves to Wendy quite yet. Meaning maybe they all did disappear but it was no mistake. Again they chose not to make their presence known quite yet. Wendy as we see got plenty of that later on.

The one "goof" that was in this scene was that Jack asked for a bourbon & Lloyd poured his drink from a Jack Daniels bottle which is whiskey. So if anything that's the "goof".

I didn't know people considered that a goof. Weird.

I don't think Jack was feeling picky about his alcohol at that point. I think if he asked for bourbon and you gave him crème de menthe mixed with formaldehyde, he'd have been desperate enough for a drink to swill it down and beg for more.

Not one person considers that a goof stop posting nonsense

Sorry to bust your bubble here but Jack Daniel's is a bourbon. Even if they hate the term themselves... even if the bottle never mentions the term... Jack Daniel's still fits the legal requirements of a bourbon. All Tennessee whiskies MUST (by law) fit the legal classification of a bourbon to be legally sold as a Tennessee Whiskey. All of the handwaving about it not being a bourbon is fanboy nonsense meant to make them feel like they're into something exclusive.
