sharehappy halloween. nicholson makes great face expressions. the here's johnny 😬 bit becomes funnier when you realise that used to be the introduction to "the tonight show". best dialogue of the movie - "you chopped your wife and daughters into little bits, then you blew your brains out" - "that's strange sir, i have no recollection of that at all". i'm so used to the setting of this movie that it looks strange in the beginning with people at the hotel, except ghosts i guess later on, notice he calls his wife a bitch twice while talking to the bartender, first as he calls his son a son of a bitch, later calling his wife a bitch. this movie has some weird carpets in it.
