Is the main villian a retired liftman

The main villian of this movie (shakaal) appears to me as a lift man (elevator operator) just retired from his services.
Besides that tingy wick smile what he does in the entire movies is pressing switches.
He appears to me,was the biggest reason for the box office failure of this movie.

Come on! He is one of the finest villain characters created in Bollywood. I rank him with the villains like Gabbar Singh and Mogambo. No other villain in Bollywood is so much sophisticated as he was, because his techniques of killing his enemies were unique and interesting. He could have been a great villain in some James Bond movie.

Shakaal was awesome and so what this entire movie. I loved the part where the 4 villians are strapped to their chairs and one will die.

he incidently also looks like timothy dalton with his smirky smile.. just needed some more hair

this movie was nowhere near a box office failure...on the contrary was a big hit...the only failure it saw was to match up with the high expectations compared to sholay...
