Nothing new on the MC boards for this great movie?

This movie - as was any work by Neil Simon - pure comic genius. It is so sad to have seen it slip into cinematic oblivion. Does anyone besides me remember and love this great film?

Well I can't speak for most of these moviechat bumpkins fixated on superhero trash, but I really love it even if I have to admit the dialogue and plotting could be significantly more clever. Chevy Chase & Goldie had great chemistry here and in Foul Play. Other plusses: the reliably amusing Charles Grodin, that comfy Brentwood home, and, of course, chicken pepperoni!!

Just watched it for the first time, and I must say that although I did like it, I didn't love it.
Some things work very well, the dialogue is brilliant (which is expected having been written by Neil Simon).
I didn't like some of the physical comedy performed mostly by Chevy Chase, they looked silly to me.
And some of Goldie Hawn's moments weren't that funny.
I loved T.K. Carter's character, and the dinner scene was priceless.

Auroras chicken pepperoni anyone?

I watched it the other day. This movie could never be made today with the amount of ethnic and illegal immigrant jokes. PC and virtue signaling has ruined a lot of comedy
