In Retospect ... Roger Moore Bad

IMHO Roger Moore turned out to be a bad choice for his role because you cannot get beyond the fact that he is James Bond. Roger Moore will always be ... first and foremost ... James Bond (one of the worst I might add) and in the decade around this film he did seven Bond films. Thus said it made this film feel so much like a James Bond Wannabee which I think was a big mistake!

Now I suppose that one could make argue that RM's star power increased box office receipts considerably and that's reasonable. But I am talking from the perspective of 2016 ... 36 years later ... this film felt so James Bond wannabee.
