Clarification on Mrs Cromwell

How do we explain that Mrs Crommwell glommed onto James Bond ... opps ... Gavin Stewart ... at the roulette table before Bond (opps) did anything to indicate he was a counter spy?

Did I miss something or was it just a case well dressed really good looking people being attracted to other well dressed really good looking people ... who just so happen to be spies? I mean water always finds it's level.
