I could swear I saw Jim Carrey as a guard who kept muttering "Blood on my Hands" when Vale and Kim were escaping.

That's funny. I just watched this again on Hulu and thought the same thing lol 

Big Jim who is indeed Canadian, was only about 18 or 19 when the film was made. It's definitely not him. His first film role came around 4 years later.🐭

Picked up the Bluray of Scanners yesterday and so it's a lovely clear picture and it's definitely Jim Carrey , facial expressions ,voice and all . Have looked into this and there are no credit for the Consec guard , he would of been 18 or 19 at the time and of course he's Canadian , If I had my last £ to bet I would bet it's him every time .
