WHY IS THIS STILL CUT IN THE UK?

I just bought this and i thought i would look on the bbfc for it to see why its 18 cert not 15 it doesnt say why but it is still the version cut for cinema in 1980.and the cuts not waverd for any of the dvd issues.
so i`m wondering what been cut in the first place and how much.
the vhs says This is the UK cinema version as cut at 127min.1sec
the dvds 127min.7sec although the latest says 127min.25 but thats because it counts the 16 seconds of logos.
