I love all 5 Prom Night films does anyone else agree?

I enjoyed part 1 and 2. Part 1 is a decent slow burn. Loved the atmosphere and yes even the music. Part 2 was just plain fun as a standalone film. 3 was fun in a cheesy way despie not having LIsa Scharge return. 4 went back to it's slasher roots for the most part. The remake is more of a thriller then a slasher. It's stil a good looking film with interesting locations even if the movie is considered corny.

I enjoy the sequels to varying degrees. The remake was just soul-less garbage and looked like a Lifetime movie of the week.

Anyone here mentions Hotel California dies before the first line clears his lips.

The sequels aren't half bad. I'm not crazy about Hello Mary Lou Prom Night 2, but oddly enough I think the third film is a bit underrated. The fourth is alright, but it isn't nearly as memorable as the first two films. The remake is basic, but I don't think it's quite as awful as some people make it out to be.

The first film is a pretty good if somewhat generic slasher that has some neat kills with some clever twists and turns. However, parts 2 and 3 are my favorite. I love the supernatural element and Mary Lou is a great horror villain. I wish the fourth film had continued that story instead of going back to the slasher format but it was still pretty good and had some memorable scenes.

Screw the remake, I'd rather eat a live cockroach than sit through that crap.
