So many questions

After watching this or I should say as I was watching this movie, I had so many questions.

Why did they circle and taunt the one girl like that?
They didn't do that to each other.

Why was she so scared of them? There was nothing to be afraid of, lol

Why did she back up against a window instead of running out of the room?

Why was the father looking out of the window immediately after she fell out?
Or was that supposed to be much later? Even though they didn't find her body until it was getting dark and he seemed to be looking out pretty soon after, while it was still light out. But still why would he be in the building and not at his daughter's body?

And why at the end when they uncovered his face did he have make up on? Really bizarre. Lipstick, blush and eye shadow. What was that about?

I chalk most of this up to just really bad writing. Not putting a lot of thought into the plot and just cranking out a slasher flick.

I also didn't like that the killer didn't even let them know why they were being killed. They did a horrible thing and I wanted them to know exactly why they were being terrorized and plucked off.

This is a terrible horror movie. Good to watch for how bad it is but not much more.

She was younger than them. Older kids usually pick on the younger ones.

She didn't understand it was only a game.

Watch the movie again. She was cornered.

If you watch the movie, you clearly see it is dark, so that would have been hours later. We can assume by this point that he had already seen his daughter and then entered the building in an attempt to piece together what happened.

And why at the end when they uncovered his face did he have make up on? Really bizarre. Lipstick, blush and eye shadow. What was that about?

Alex's motives for wearing make-up are not entirely clear, but the assumption is that he was trying to take on his twin sister's identity.

I am not sure if your examples are good evidence for bad writing; however, in general, I would agree that not much thought was put into the plot in an effort to crank out a slasher flick.

I also didn't like that the killer didn't even let them know why they were being killed. They did a horrible thing and I wanted them to know exactly why they were being terrorized and plucked off.

I agree. I also would have liked to have seen a scene where all of them huddle together to discuss the strange phone calls they got and all of them putting together that the mysterious caller knew what they had done years ago.

It has its good points and its bad ones. Had they spent more time working on the red herrings, it could have worked out to have been a great movie.

I agree about the makeup - I expected to see the father (why'd he disappear for the "presentation?") then thought for a few seconds it was the mother - but I thought it a very good movie overall.

I chalk this up to you really not paying attention to the movie you were watching. Lol

"As I was watching this or I should say as I was watching this movie..."

Huh?? Seriously?
You're on the message board for the MOVIE Prom Night and you have a post titled So Many Questions.
What else could you be asking questions about?!
What else could you have been watching?!
But thanks for clarifying that you were watching the movie Prom Night.
When you said "as I was watching this..."
I was so confused. "THIS" could have been almost anything!
Watching this sunset.
Watching this four year old child (you're a babysitter)
Watching the wheels go round and round.
I'm glad you let us know you were watching this movie.

"Seriously," you need to go back and read the first sentence - the first *word* - of the OP's comment. (I'd suggest you apologize, as well.)

Nick was supposed to be dazed according to the script when he is bound and gagged after being knocked unconscious....but when Kim finds him hes like...walking slightly confused and it doesnt make sense to me.

You try getting knocked unconscious by getting hit hard in the head, and then see how well you function. I doubt you'll be able to walk a straight line.
