After Conrad’s breakthrough with Dr. Berger…

Did he reconnect with his swim team buddies? Especially Joe Lazenby? (Not Stillman/Adam Baldwin I’m sure).

reply

I would think he did. The end of the film was uplifting, and he was progressing both with his father/home life (not mother of course because she left), and his girlfriend. I think he was able to handle his friendship with Lazenby again, and even maybe get back to swimming.

Great answer. That is what I like to imagine too! Thank you.

I think in the end Conrad was going to be okay. He was level with his father, with open dialogue, no added layer of uncomfortableness with his mother gone. He had a connection with a woman he really liked... I could see him reconnecting with his friends for sure.

Not to be repetitive but, great answer. I agree!! Thank you.

Yes, I think Conrad is going to get past all of this and end up an emotionally stronger person. I hope Beth is also able to deal with her own problems. I always wonder what will become of her.
