VHS/DVD Difference?

My old VHS copy says 104 minutes, but my new DVD copy says 103 minutes.

Is this just a difference in rounding, or is there an extra minute missing from the DVD?

Can anyone shed any light on this without me having to watch this movie under a microscope 10 times?
