Oh! Heavenly Dog

can't believe how little i remembered about this movie, i thought i used to be quite common with it. the music score is alright. my favorite scene is the bath tub. too bad it wasn't longer. looking back on it, before i started watching it, i thought it would be some cute innocent flick for a kids audience, so i was quite suprised what happens to him at the beginning. when chevy chase gets to heaven, notice the speaker seems to be GARFIELD'S VOICE! was it real brandy in the bottle? i mean he looked wasted after taking it. or maybe an incredible actor. by the way, someone on this board asked about the swedish title on this, well, it's "get your paws off!" or something like that.


in a quiet room, a fellow started giggling,
there he goes again, you got to be kidding,
he had a hard time on his way,
misunderstood all the time, the guy who got the jokes just a little too late,
everybody are laughing now,
except that one guy,
he's gonna get it in a few moments from now,
crowd lowering their heads,
saying, oh no, here he goes again..
he's got a hard time, alote of inapropriate moments stay there,
the guy that laughed at jokes, just a little bit later,
he's hiding around the streets,
people don't approve of this little quality,
another misunderstanding coming his way,
but maybe he'll catch up one of these days,
the guy that got the jokes, just a little too late.
