Knife throwing zombies- discuss

Man, I've seen some bad moments in many zombie films but the circus-accuracy of that zombie's knife throw had me rolling!

Plus, since when has a scythe been so sharp that it just makes someone's head fall off without any kind of resistance?

This film was so poor it made my sides hurt...

When I used to own a scythe, I had to be really careful because if I bumped into folks the wrong way their heads fell off.

Personally, my favorite scene was the battering ram. While using it, the zombies seem very human. When they put it down, it's like they remember to be zombies again and just look at the floor and shuffle around.

Wouldn't it be great if a knife-throwing zombie debate replaced the running zombie debate? If I see another "Running zombies are stupid/awesome" post I will vomit all of my intestines.

I don't think the hand impalement was THAT far fetched. These zombies weren't supposed to be mindless, they were people kept alive with sorcery, so they acted (fairly) intelligently, used tools etc.

No resistance? Didn't the scythe slowly slice through her neck?

Listen, running zombies aren't new! they existed before with "Nightmare City" ( a.k.a. City of the Walking Dead), "Return of the Living Dead 1 & 3", "Lifeforce', 'The Stuff" and "Zombi 3".

Now weapon throwing zombies existed with this movie and "Land of the Dead".

The maid was probably scared to death (shock)!! Also Bub was a weapon using zombie in DAY OF THE DEAD. Bub shot Rhodes more then once with a handgun. QUITE ACCURATELY TOO! Last shot was a perfect shot then Rhodes was eaten alive by zombies.

Well, maybe he actually was an Etruscan or Roman circus performer?

It's been a few years since I saw Burial Ground, but I thought it looked more like a railroad spike than anything. Seems odd that an Etruscan zombie would get their hands on one of those, though no more inexplicable than the bear trap.

DOTD's Bub was the only zombie we saw go through a semester firearms course, but Lenzi's Walking (+leaping and blouse-ripping) Dead of Nightmare city figured guns out on their own.
There are some really crappy zombie movies I haven't seen yet. Did any of the Nazi zombies remember gun use? (Oasis, Lake, and Sockwaves, the latter of which I know was actually good) And what about Night of the Zombies 2, or whatever the proper title is? Not Mattei, but the one where zombies have an army camp set up and some guy has to infiltrate it and learns they want to be human or something? I found its listing once and it only got 2 stars. Any zombie gun-users in those?
