Soundtrack - End Credits

Does ANYBODY know the name of the band that performs the theme song both during part of the movie and at the end credits? That has been KILLING me for years, trying to find out! There's almost no music at all in the movie, except for source music (recorded live on location as part of the background), and this one song.
