Why was it rated R... from what i can remember it was like watching a Disney movie. any details por favor? =D

there is the shower scene with Nina Axelrod where you see her bare tits. There is also the scene where Sheriff Smith and Terry go to the "drive-in," actually a lovers'-lane place, and the sheriff turns on his sirens and lights to clear the place. And, of course, a completely nude woman runs out of her car to see what all the commotion is. It makes perfect sense. But more importantly, it got the movie the R-rating, saving it from horror film hell: the PG rating!!! (no PG-13 those days.)
