Blue Turban

I saw this thing many times as a teenager since my father thought it was great. I know we have since passed "the end of the world" as far as this film depicted it but I vaguely remember that the third anti-christ wore a blue turban.

As I was reading a similar prediction on a different site, I remmeber seeing that guy who leads the Taliban wearing a blue turban. Mullhamed Ullar or something??? Anyone who has the video, can you confirn the blue turban?

Yeah but the problem with some of the prophecies is that some people read one and say oh that's me. So for all we know this Taliban guy read that quatrain.

I saw this in junior high school. Our teacher showed it as a treat to the class.

I remember the blue turban guy. He stood in a high-tech looking control room, with his arms crossed and a mean look on his face, occasionally pointing to a technician who would proceed to do something, evil I guess. He was like a James Bond villain.

It's been a long time but...
The war was supposed to involve the Soviet Union and a middle eastern country against the US. The nuclear war was supposed to last 12 years, involve the whole world, and introduce lots of newly invented weapons throughout. The Soviets were supposed to change sides at the end, ending the war. 1000 years of peace were to have followed.

It was all supposed to have been over with years ago.

It hasn't even been 10 yrs since 9/11. If you believe his prophecies, then the war starts when 9/11 begins, so it should in fact still be going on.

With regard to the other issues, remember that this film uses the filmmakers' own interpretations. During the Cold War, anyone back then would've interpreted references to a third world war as being nuclear because at that time the world was continually on the brink of it. In 1981, the Soviets had invaded/annexed Afghanistan, so some of Nostradamus' quatrains may have referenced areas in Afghanistan that the film makers interpreted to be part of the Soviet Union.

There are a lot of references in this movie proven to be myths, i.e. the frenchmen that drink from his skull and immediately get shot. However, I've always been mystified by this movie's references to the attack on new york and a powerful man in a turban, 20 yrs before an exceptionally similar event actually took place.

He predicted that the world war 3 would start in 1996. That was the year Osama declared war on america.

I thought the 3rd World War was supposed to be the war that ended all wars. If I'm safe at home, writing on the internet, I take it that means things are going to get a whole lot worse?

Uhhhh, DUH! The 3rd anti-Christ (man in blue turban) was Osama Bin Ladin!! :/ The Quatrains were not always literal/to the T!!..:/

another thing, the anti christ in arab tradition has one eye, mulla omer seem to had one eye, and it was reported during his life.
