I believe them he has a good record of being right and although some say his predictions are wrong maybe they were misread?.They are hard to decipher his Quatrains. Most believe that the future was althered in some cases he saw these event way back in the 1200's so things change. For example he forsaw President Kennedy live and becaome this nations best President and his brother Bobby taking over in 1968.But he did also see the assaination so he has forsaw some althernate futures as well

reply

well, thats a give in! Thats like saying "this person is going to be killed, but he also might not." WHAT? I think people just use his poetry to support crazy conclusions. Hey, if you spell this word, rearrange it, subsitute another letter, and spell it in reverse, you have the name of the 3rd tyrant! It's all nonsense. The bible code was nonsense too after it was discovered that the researchers manipulated it to support their claims. You can find code in all kidns of books... it was also found in Moby Dick.

No, I have read a good portion of his quatrains and they reveal nothing. You can rearrange anything to make it fit your agenda if you try hard enough. This is exactly what his proponents do, also to date none of his millions of believers and followers has been able to find a quatrain that predicts something before it happens. All of his predictions are discovered after the fact, as I said it is manipulation of wording and misinterpretation.

You really have to stretch to see the things in these quatrains that the "believers" see. And Kennedy was this nation's best President? Hardly. Bobby taking over? He didn't, he was assassinated before the Democrat convention even took place in 1968. When some event happens that gets world wide attention, the believers rush to find a quatrain that could have predicted it. You have to have quite an imagination to buy into this stuff.

When I first saw this movie, I was a true believer through and through. That's because I was nine years old. Today I can recognize the prophecies for what they are: the ramblings of a 16th century astrologer which are constantly re-interpreted by each successive generation.

reply

I don't as I see it someone who make over 400 hundred predictions is bound to them correct, I think that when there was NO mega quake in Ca in 1988 OR nuclear attack on New York city 11 yrs later

though the prediction that I have been awed is the prediction regarding the Shah of Iran "No Truer FAITH shall betray the Monarch, it is commenced in France, it is a omen that he shall die !

(I'm a studier of the Iranian revolution) Faith and Die umm

reply

Nope because human beings cannot see into the future. They never have been able to and never will be.

It's funny because what people do is take events that have already happened and retrofit them to make sense. No one can see what ANY of his "predictions" mean until AFTER the events happen. And then you interpret his words to fit the situations.

I have seen this film a few times and what it shows regarding WW2 is compelling. Human beings cannot see the future but:

1) Are we absolutely certain that we are the only "intelligent" living entities there are in the entire Universe?
2) Is it possible for other living entities to see past, present and future as one?
3) Is it possible for them to share what they see with us?

reply

1) No

2) No

3) No

reply

4) Are all "intelligent" living entities organic/corporeal in composition?
5) Is there a scientific way to prove that it is utterly impossible for ANY living entity to see past, present and future as one?

reply

Nope because human beings cannot see into the future. They never have been able to and never will be.

But you just claimed to have seen into the future.

i resisted it for 25 years, but now i'm a believer. i saw it first in the late 1980s, looked like anti arab propaganda, and it possibly was one of the makers intentions. but after 9/11 i remembered it but couldn't put my hand on it, but even then it looked to me like it was a masonist conspiracy, (i also resisted these conspiracies for long time until i read the davinci code and the holy blood and the holy grail) also when i got older i met a person with amazing gift, after that, i started to have my own dreams about my own future. the scientific education could be a factor in why i and others resisted this, but it also about envy, why others have this gift and not me, the idiots think it's a blessing. well, not exactly, it could feel like a curse some times.
