I haven't seen this movie at all, but I've heard the band MISSING PERSONS was in it and performed some songs. Since their debut EP and full-length album didn't come out nationally until late 1982 (two years after the movie), were any of the songs from the movie ever on a Missing Persons album or single? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

"Mental Hopscotch" is used as movie's theme song and both it and "I Like Boys" are lipsynched throughout the movie as the band soundchecks and performs at the club. Band is shown driving around, unloading equipment, performing, and sitting at tables watching other acts, and Teddy gets into a catfight.
