where can i get it?

i was born in 1982. 2 years after this movie came out. but i can remember when i was very little i used to love watching this movie when it came on tv. i couldn't have been more then 5 or 6. i don't remember anything about the movie. it could be that i loved watching it because it made me feel grown up being able to watch what i considered at the time a very adult movie. i would very much love to see this movie again. if for no other reason than to bring back the memories of my once innocent childhood. could anyone help? i would greatly appreciate it.

MCA Home Video did release the movie on VHS back in the 1980s. It used to retail at $69.99 and that's what it cost me when I bought it new in the 1990s. Because MCA never dropped the price they still had *New* and *Sealed* copies of it for YEARS after its original video release in 1982. For example, my video box says Copyright 1982 MCA Videocassette, Inc. -- but the tape inside has 2 MCA home video labels that were manufactured in 1986.

Another MCA Home Video that was expensive and never dropped in price before going Out-of-Print: NEWMAN'S LAW (1974) with George Peppard. Was $59.99.

So was THE BLACK WINDMILL (1974) with Michael Caine @ $59.99 to buy New.

Just a wee bit of info.

Dear mfan0825: HI. > "THE LAST MARRIED COUPLE IN AMERICA" has never been released on DVD. It's a Universal picture and they have not released it to disk. Don't hold your breath for this one. While it's always possible it could be put out on DVD at some time I wouldn't bet money on it.

I picked up a copy of this on dvd today in an Australian chain store (BIG W) for just $4. It is released by a company called PAYLESS ENTERTAINMENT. The print looks fine but is only in Wide Screen (1.85 to 1) for the title sequence. It then switches to full-frame, meaning that the image is slightly cropped on the sides. The same company has released Goldie Hawn's THE GIRL FROM PETROVKA, another Universal title, in 2.35 to 1 non-anamorphic Wide Screen. Again, the print looks fine. They are PAL system Region 4 releases.I would suggest looking for them on ebay.com.au Cheers,Mike
