In what year is this set?

Fashions, equipment and vehicles suggest this film was set around the time it was made (1981).

BUT if the little girl's dad is supposed to be one of the WWII Nazis then that would mean the movie is set (at the very latest) about 1955.

Is it just me? Have I missed something here?

Which is one of favorite quirks about this film. 35 years have passed and the girl is a teenager! Man I love this movie.

It was set in the year Nineteen-O-Butt.

Dude, this 3 year old post made me LOL big time!!!!

The girl is around 8 or 9...yet her dad was a NAZI soldier which would've met early 40s at the latest...its a HUGE plot hole, but this movie is a complete joke, so I guess the plot making sense is too much to ask!

1950s. Yeah a lot of stuff shown are modern (well were modern). It's a low budget hack job made with zero passion by Rollin.

However common sense should tell everyone based on the little girls age it's the 50s. Again low budget hack job ignore anything modern

Don't try to figure out why anything is happening in this movie, just enjoy the hot, naked French girls.
