I use to think Dead Next Door was a bad zombie movie, but wow this movie was 1,000 times worse. The zombies were green and that was pretty much it. It was just someone's face painted green. Dead Next Door was bad, but at least the zombies looked decent. This movie was crap in the lake! 1/10

I think "Garden of the Dead" gives this a pretty good run for its money. At least this has some "fan service" shots--for a while there, I thought they were shooting a wildlife documentary about the long-haired European beaver.

was that the one where in the end the sun comes up and all the zombies just magically instantly vanish? ugh.
shareOasis of the Zombies is far, far worse than this. lake is abysmal but at the same time is great (as pointed out the nudity helps), but Qasis is just beyond reproach. And there is no nudity (apart from that huge flashback which takes up almost a third of the film), although there is a rape scene, which is something.
And yes if I rememeber I think the sun saves the day at the end.
Also the fake one-eyed head is quite cool.
Time to blow
This movie was horrible, but I still think the $h!tfest Day of the Dead 2: Contagium is still tops!

There are worse ones. As was mentioned, there's Jess Franco's Oasis Of The Zombies. I got ripped off into renting it twice, first as Oasis Of The Zombies and then retitled as Bloodsucking Nazi Zombies. Children Of The Living Dead is awful. Joel M. Reed's Night Of The Zombies is worthy for worst zombie movie title, too.
At least Zombie Lake has something going for it. There's plenty of gynecological exams in it. LOL There are parts of it that are tolerable, for the right audience, of course. The other mentioned films have nothing going for them.
This and Oasis Of The Zombies re some of the worst.
