Decent B-movie

This is an entertaining action movie with a strong cast. It feels a bit like a TV movie at time, but for a low-budget flick, it holds up. 6/10 stars.

Does anyone remember this film playing in theaters in 1980? I hadn't heard about it until I found it in the budget bin for $3.95. Money well spent, and the second feature, "Death Row Gameshow," was even better.

Yep, I remember when this Canadian-U.S. co-production was playing in theatres. I was 12 years old at the time, therefore too young to see it. But I did eventually see it on television in later years. Not a bad little movie.

Thanks for the reply. I suspect this got more of a release in Canada than in the States. I don't remember this playing anywhere in theaters or TV here at the time, and with the shooting of Reagan the next year, it probably wasn't a big candidate for video release.

You're probably correct, it's very likely that there was a lack of distribution for this movie in the United States. I'm guessing it only played in the largest American markets like New York and Los Angeles.

It showed in most Famous Players Theatres in Canada at the time. Most did a week or two.

I had fun making the movie and it was my first paid acting gig and I got to hang out with Bill Shatner and Hal Holbrook

George "Stompy" Hollo
