This is an entertaining action movie with a strong cast. It feels a bit like a TV movie at time, but for a low-budget flick, it holds up. 6/10 stars.
Does anyone remember this film playing in theaters in 1980? I hadn't heard about it until I found it in the budget bin for $3.95. Money well spent, and the second feature, "Death Row Gameshow," was even better.
Yep, I remember when this Canadian-U.S. co-production was playing in theatres. I was 12 years old at the time, therefore too young to see it. But I did eventually see it on television in later years. Not a bad little movie.
shareThanks for the reply. I suspect this got more of a release in Canada than in the States. I don't remember this playing anywhere in theaters or TV here at the time, and with the shooting of Reagan the next year, it probably wasn't a big candidate for video release.
shareYou're probably correct, it's very likely that there was a lack of distribution for this movie in the United States. I'm guessing it only played in the largest American markets like New York and Los Angeles.
