Olivier hammy and hilarious

Laurence olivier takes the prize for the hammiest performance in an A list movie.

I was laughing at most of his scenes.

I'll never forget the line he made immortal with his own special delivery:
"I HAF NO ZON!"
I'm sure he had fun (over)playing this role.

Oh, man! Olivier was hammy and great! I loved him in this movie. Ripping his clothes and shaking his head "no" when Neil tried to reason with him. Looking over his shoulder with those giant glasses when Neil snuck in and started singing in the synagogue. But when Neil mentions the grandson...look out! I always get a kick out of Olivier at the end, trying not to enjoy the concert, then really gettin' with it. Great stuff.

That line is a classic! Olivier had a lot of fun with his later films because he didn't take himself too seriously. I have more respect for an actor who's willing to contribute ham to cheese – though I'm not sure it's kosher.
